A fuel truck driver found himself in a precarious situation yesterday when his tanker tipped forward, leaving the rear wheels several feet off of the ground.
Mechanical Failure Blamed For Tipped Tanker
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon at Flash Foods gas station in Zebulon, Georgia.
According to the Pike County Fire Department, mechanical failure was to blame for the topsy-turvy truck. Officials say that stands were deployed, but when the tractor was removed from the tanker, fuel in the front and middle sections caused the tanker to tip forward.
No injuries were reported.
The Atlanta Fire Department was brought in to assist with the incident.
According to reports, another tanker truck was brought in to help offload the fuel.
Many Facebook users had advice and comments for the tanker driver after seeing the photos from the incident.
