San Antonio police say that dense fog was a factor in a series of 32 separate chain reaction crashes that shut down I-37 northbound in San Antonio this morning.

Several people have been transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
SPD says fog combined with speed are to blame for the crashes, “The fog is real heavy. The accidents are continuing because cars are still traveling at a high rate of speed.”
Transportation officials aren’t sure when I-37 will reopen. Heavy traffic delays are being reported.
