But luckily there are a few easy steps that you can do take make sure that content from your favorite trucking websites are more likely to make it into your newsfeed. These tips are also great to help make sure that content from your favorite weather sites or local news stations show up in your newsfeed.
We’ll show you how, using examples from the Missing Truck Driver Alert Network Facebook page (If you don’t like them already, you should! They do very important work to help families locate missing truck drivers!).
- Be sure to Like the page. If you only like the posts, you may be less likely to see their articles in your newsfeed than if you like the page. All you need to do is click on the “Like” button at the top of the Facebook page.
- Change the settings on the page to “See First” in your newsfeed. This is one of the most important things you can do to take control of the articles that make it into your newsfeed. All you need to to do is go over to the “Following” button right next to the “Like” button and scroll down to “In Your Newsfeed” and click on “See First”.
- Subscribe to Notifications. If you really enjoy a Facebook page, you can subscribe to get notifications from that page when they produce new posts. You’ll want to make sure that this is a very important page for you, though, as you may not want to receive constant notifications about everything that a particular page does.
