The Nevada Highway Patrol hosted a “Tweet Along” this week while troopers rode along in semis to catch motorists committing traffic violations.
The March 1 semi truck ride along was part of a traffic enforcement campaign called “Badges On Board” — or BOB.
Troopers got a trucker’s-eye view of motorists driving without their seatbelts, speeding, and talking on cell phones. They even caught one motorist driving the wrong way on a one way street.
When the in-cab troopers spotted a violation, they contacted other officers in marked police vehicles to pull over the drivers so that they could hand out citations.
