North Carolina police have arrested a man for allegedly taking photos of another man doing his business at a rest stop in Davidson County.
Alleged Bathroom Peeper Arrested By North Carolina Cops
On Friday November 24, police responded to a call at the I-85 northbound rest area. The caller complained that someone had taken photos of him while he was using the bathroom.
Officers from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office soon located and arrested 36 year old Greensboro resident Leobardo Arturo Mireles-Nunez. He was charged with possessing a photograph obtained by peeping. He was also had a previous charge for driving on a revoked license.
Mireles-Nunez was issued a $5,500 secured bond and was ordered to appear in court on December 18.
Peepholes Found In Men’s Bathrooms At I-40 Rest Stop
Earlier this year, North Carolina officials found more evidence of restroom peeping at one of the state’s rest stops.
In late January, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office reported that peepholes had been discovered in the restrooms on I-40. Authorities discovered four peepholes in the men’s restrooms in the rest area on the westbound side of the interstate and two peepholes in the men’s restrooms in the rest area on the eastbound side of the interstate. There were no peepholes discovered in the women’s restrooms.
