A pileup crash involving at least 10 vehicles forced the shut down of a 14 mile stretch of the New York State Thruway near Syracuse this morning.

The pileup involved multiple tractor trailers and passenger vehicles near the Warners Travel Plaza.
Near white out conditions and slick roads were reported on I-90 just before 8 a.m. when the pileup occurred.
There have been reports of injuries.
I-90 westbound is closed between Exit 39 and Exit 40.
Eastbound I-90 has reopened.
Serious traffic delays have been reported in the area.
