Photo by photo, watch as a truck comes inches from being pancaked by a train

Published:

CDLLife reader Juan sent us a series of photos of a truck driver’s close call with a train that will make your jaw drop.

REMINDER: NEVER TRY TO BEAT A TRAIN

These photos come courtesy of One Track Mind Railroad Photography.

According to Juan, “a truck barrelled through a Norfolk Southern Railway grade crossing, damaging the gates at Carrie Ave in St. Louis, Missouri.

Juan says that the truck driver sped up to try to beat the train and somehow made it, in spite of the fact that a crash looks inevitable from the photos, which were taken about one second apart.

Let these photos serve as a reminder — no matter what kind of a time crunch you’re up against, NEVER TRY TO BEAT A TRAIN.
