Pilot Flying J has announced that they’ll be teaming up with celebrity chef Tim Love to create new menu items for travelers to enjoy.
Top Chef To Freshen Up Travel Center Food Offerings
A news release announcing the collaboration between the high profile chef and the largest travel center operator in North America calls the partnership “a first of its kind.”
Chef Love’s new menu items will soon be available at all 750 Pilot Flying J locations nationwide. While specific details about the new menu items have not been released, Love says his focus will be on creating “nutritious options that are easy to carry and easy to eat.”
Said Love, “I am thrilled to be partnering with Pilot Flying J. They truly want to provide a better food experience for their guests.”
Love, who specializes in southwestern American cuisine, will also focus on creating special menu items that will be featured exclusively in Pilot Flying J locations in the southwest.
Love has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Food & Wine, and Bon Appetit. He has also appeared on several television programs including “Iron Chef America” and “Top Chef.”
