Slick roads sent a semi sliding off of I-84, through a guardrail, and over a steep embankment in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon early this morning.

Rescue crews responded to the crashed truck around 3:30 a.m. near mile marker 23. When they arrived, they found a semi at the bottom of a 50 foot embankment.
Firefighters used ropes to rescue the truck driver and passenger from the crashed truck. Both suffered only minor injuries.
Authorities warn of dangerous ice and wind in the area today.
