When an 8 hour traffic nightmare stranded drivers on I-5 in downtown Seattle yesterday, a taco truck that was stuck in the mess anyway opened for business — much to the delight of hungry drivers.
Yesterday around 10 a.m., a tanker truck hauling butane rolled on I-5, closing down the interstate in both directions. I-90 was also closed for the crash, and as drivers tried to escape onto side streets, these became clogged as well, causing massive gridlock.
A food truck from Tacos El Tajin found itself caught up in the traffic jam. With no escape in sight, employees on board decided that they may as well open for business.

Around noon, the “Best Mexican Food Truck In Seattle” began selling gorditas, burritos, and tortas to hordes of grateful drivers.
The lesson to be learned from all of this? When life hands you lemons, you might as well serve tacos.
