After his story was shared thousands of times on the internet, an Oklahoma family found the truck driver who stopped to comfort a woman during her last moments following a crash.

Highway Accident Claims The Life Of Oklahoma Woman

Early on April 23, 25 year old Dorothy Marko was driving on Highway 70 in Hugo, Oklahoma when she ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and then crashed into a tree. Marko’s vehicle burst into flames. According to family members, the woman was able to crawl out of the crashed vehicle even though most of her clothes had burned off.

Marko passed away from her injuries, but rescue crews told her family that a passing truck driver had stopped to check on her, pulling her to safety and staying with her in her last moments of life.
