Trucker Pulls Gun During Argument Over Line Position At Costco Warehouse

Published:

A truck driver is facing numerous charges after he allegedly pulled a handgun on another trucker during an argument at a Maryland Costco distribution center.

The incident happened on Tuesday when 61 year old truck driver Michael Scott Gutoski and another trucker began to argue over line positions at the Monrovia Costco warehouse.

Gutoski said that he pulled his 40-caliber Glock 23 on the other driver because he felt threatened. The other trucker maintained that Gutoski was the instigator and that Gutoski had struck him in the ribs.

Gutoski surrendered peacefully to police.

He was charged with assault, reckless endangerment, and three counts of illegal possession and carrying of a firearm. He was released on $7,500 bail.

Gutoski reportedly had a permit to carry the gun in Wisconsin.
