Police: Trucker Drove From Seattle To Massachusetts With No Rest

A violent encounter with a truck driver at a Circle K convenience store led the Deerfield Police Department to believe that the man had driven 3,000 miles without rest.

Police were called to the Circle K yesterday because an agitated truck driver found himself locked out of his truck. Officers said that the driver was behaving aggressively and they suspected that he was on drugs. After putting up a fight with the arresting officers, the man admitted that he had taken cocaine, LSD, and methamphetamine. “He was clearly a danger to himself and others,” according to police.

In a statement the Deerfield Police Department said, “It appeared the driver didn’t rest, only used drugs, and he drove from Seattle, Washington to Deerfield, with a destination on the East Coast.
