Vegan Accused Of Crashing Into Chicken Truck On Purpose

Georgia police say that they have arrested a woman who intentionally crashed into a chicken truck and then fled the scene.

The incident happened on February 21 on Highway 72 in Hull.

The chicken truck driver told police that he was hit by a red car. When he slowed down, the car hit his rig again, this time spinning out on the highway after the impact.

The car driver fled the scene, but police found a license plate on the ground in the debris from the crash.

The license plate led Madison County Sheriff’s deputies to the home of 26 year old¬†Judith M. Armstrong.

Armstrong admitted to police that she hit the truck deliberately, explaining that “she was a vegan and hit the truck due to it being a chicken truck.” She also said she fled the scene because she was afraid she could lose her license.

Armstrong was arrested and charged with DUI, hit and run, aggressive driving, and obstruction.
