Truck driver voluntarily delivers donations to Hurricane Harvey victims

Published:

Earlier this week truck driver Mark Reynolds began collecting donations from the community to aid the relief efforts in South Texas following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

He plans to drive the donations to South Texas himself today.

He was in Houston right before the hurricane hit, barely making it out of harm’s way himself.

He is collecting donations in a Floresville Walmart Supercenter. Countless people have begun filling the trailer with various donations.

“I just can’t see the people suffering and I know they’ve got others,” Reynolds told Kens5 News.

“There are animals, there are babies, just everybody and everything, they need help. I’ve got the equipment, I’m going to use it.”

After the first load is dropped off in the Houston area, Reynolds plans to make another trip next week.
