According to Tucson News Now, a viewer submitted the video. That viewer wishes to remain anonymous.
The viewer called Arizona Department of Public Safety several times, and also called 911 to report the dangerous driving. He/she also called the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office but was redirected to DPS.
Less than 20 miles down the highway from where the viewer began calling in the truck, the tractor-trailer crashed into the rear of an SUV being towed by a pickup truck.
The truck crossed into the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 when it struck a tractor-trailer head-on.
The trailer of the swerving truck ended up on top of the cab of the westbound tractor-trailer.
Our shot from the crash scene yesterday shows the same trailer number as the one from that video. Missed me at 5? LIVE again @ 5:30 #tucson pic.twitter.com/fPcDoqwHVl
