PHOTO: Donner Pass Eats A Jeep Alive

Published:

The California Highway Patrol — Truckee division shared a stunning photo of a Jeep Cherokee abandoned on the shoulder of the road and covered in over 20 feet of snow on Donner Pass.

According to CHP, the Jeep has likely been there for much of the winter. It isn’t in the way, so no one is too concerned about moving it right now.

They say a snow plow is probably responsible for burying the Jeep and that a snowblower cutting through the snowbanks clipped the vehicle’s bumper, causing the damage that you see in the photo.
