Old Dominion Named Official Carrier Of Major League Baseball

Yesterday Old Dominion Freight Line announced that they were named the “Official Freight Carrier for Major League Baseball.”

As part of their partnership with the MLB, Old Dominion be putting 30,000 baseball branded trailers on the road.

Old Dominion already had partnerships with numerous MLB teams, including the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago White Sox, the Kansas City Royals, the Los Angeles Angels, the New York Mets, and the Texas Rangers.

David Carter, VP of Marketing Communications at Old Dominion remarked, “Old Dominion is excited to partner with Major League Baseball, an organization that consistently shares similar values. Baseball is America’s pastime with a rich history of growth, entertainment, and providing a deep connection with its fans. Old Dominion has grown exponentially in its 83 year history from a family-run business to the leading LTL carrier in the country. Old Dominion is one of the nation’s largest less-than-truckload companies. Their fleet  is made up of more than 8030 tractors and over 32061 trailers.
