A truck driver was found dead on the street outside of a Miami gas station this morning after an argument with another man turned violent.

Miami police were called to the scene at the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and 32nd Avenue around 6 a.m.
According to reports, a tractor trailer driver stopped at the gas station and became involved in an argument with another man at the gas station. Police say that the man went to his car and returned with a machete during the argument.
The truck driver ran away from the machete-weilding man and into rush hour traffic and was hit by a westbound Kia.
Miami Police Actively Investigating Fatal Incident
It isn’t clear whether he had been injured by the machete before he was hit by the car.
The truck driver died at the scene.

The Kia driver remained at the scene. The man with the machete fled. It isn’t clear if any arrests have been made.
Miami police are still investigating.
