Police in Stafford, Texas, are asking for help from the public in finding a tractor trailer that was stolen from a hotel parking lot after the truck’s driver was shot to death.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night in the parking lot of an America’s Best Value Inn & Suites. The Stafford Police Department responded to calls about gunfire in the area.

When they arrived on the scene, they found 47 year old Louisiana truck driver Spencer Brown Jr. lying in the parking lot, dead as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators later discovered that Brown’s truck had been stolen.
The tractor is a blue and mauve colored 2007 Peterbilt with a car hauler trailer. The trailer has Louisiana plates and the license plate number is L368776. The tractor has Florida plates and the license plate number is F8947U.
