Utah townspeople help stuck trucker, prove that there are still good people out there

Today the Moab City Police Department took to Facebook to share a story about how some townspeople came to the aid of a truck driver in need.

Snowy weather made the Utah town of Moab look Christmas-ready, but it also made it tough for a trucker to maneuver his rig through a turn. When he got his rig stuck, a number of employees from a nearby business dropped what they were doing to help him get out of the snow.

The Facebook post reads: “And here we have yet another example of why we think our community is so awesome. This semi-truck driver didn’t quite negotiate a turn on Main St. and was blocking all of the southbound lanes. Several employees from Poison Spider saw this and immediately jumped into action, using shovels to help the driver dig out of the snow. They certainly didn’t have to help. They could have continued to clear snow from their business but instead, they spent at least half an hour helping out a total stranger. Gentlemen, thank you!
