Police were on the lookout for a black Chevy pickup after receiving numerous calls about the vehicle driving erratically.

When police attempted to pull the pickup truck over on U.S. 89/91, the pickup veered out of its lane and collided with a semi hauling sand in the oncoming lanes.

According to a release from the Logan City Police Department, the Chevy was traveling at speeds “well in excess of the posted speed limit” when it crashed, causing an explosion and immediate fire.
