Utah police are investigating after dash cam video shows that railroad crossing gates were not engaged when a train collided with a FedEx truck.
The incident happened on Saturday around 10 a.m. In dash cam video captured by a North Salt Lake police officer, you can see a FrontRunner train rip through two of the trailers, leaving the cab of the truck intact.
The train conductor suffered minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The Utah Transit Authority is investigating why the the crossing gates did not activate.
