VIDEO: Idaho Falls city garbage truck crashed into car

Published:

Just yesterday around 7 a.m., an Idaho Falls city garbage pinned a car against a utility pole after running a red light.

The truck hit the red Mazda at the corner of Holmes Avenue and Lomax Street.

A surveillance camera on the corner caught the garbage truck in action. YouTuber Murdock Manwaring just shared this video saying, “Start watching the lights at 1:17 and see if you can decide who is at fault. Luckily, no one was hurt. Wreck in front of our office.”

The garbage truck pushed the car across the intersection and into the pole where both vehicles came to a stop.

The driver of the Mazda received minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital, according to East Idaho News.

The condition of the garbage truck driver is unknown.

It is also unknown at this time if either driver was cited for this accident.
