The Iowa Department of Transportation shared this video of a tanker truck overturning at northbound I-35 and Highway 30 near Ames this morning.
Tanker Crash Snarls Morning Commute
No one was hurt in the 8 a.m. crash, but the tanker leaked about 1000 gallons of fertilizer onto the roadway. The crash caused traffic to back up for miles before it was cleared just before noon.
