The Neil Mitchell program has leaked this dash cam footage from last weekend when a truck traveling down the highway suddenly swerves into oncoming traffic and lands in the backyard of a residential home.
According to 3AW Mornings, “the truck driver suffered a coughing fit and may have blacked out before swerving onto the roadside of Canterbury Road on Saturday.”
There were no major injuries. The truck driver only suffered from minor ailments, like a black eye.
The truck crashed into power lines and half of a house.
Neil Mitchell commented on this accident, “As usual, the truckie has got the blame, but today I want to stand up for him. The footage shows he wasn’t speeding, and you can tell the truck basically does not have a driver as it slowly veers across the busy road in the house.”
According to the driver’s brother-in-law, the truck driver does not remember any part of the accident.
The truck driver has no history of black-outs and is still unsure that cause of the accident.
