Icy roads and crashes forced Washington State transportation officials to shut down I-82 westbound near Outlook for hours today.
Lots of wrecks on I-82 this morning. If there is ice on your windshield, then there is ice on the road. Please slow down. pic.twitter.com/9JfszbARZq

There was also an earlier closure of I-82 in both directions from mile marker 54 near Wapato to mile marker 67 near Sunnyside starting around 7:30 a.m. Icy roads and crashes were also the cause of this closure.
That closure reopened at 9:30 a.m.
