Pennsylvania transportation officials have shut down a portion of I-78 for a serious crash involving multiple tractor trailers.
The crash happened around 2:15 a.m. at mile marker mile marker 68 in Lower Saucon Township, Pennsylvania, according to Lehigh Valley Live.

Four tractor trailers and one passenger vehicle collided in the eastbound lanes of I-78. The crash left the car crushed underneath one of the trucks.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but heavy rain was reported at the time of the crash.
At least one person was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
I-78 has been shut down for hours in both directions between between Exit 67 and Exit 71. Heavy traffic delays have been reported in the area.
