A winter storm has created white out conditions and made driving slow going or even impossible in some parts of Nebraska today.
As many as 14 inches of snow have fallen on Nebraska today, leading to white out conditions, crashes, and road closures.
Portions of I-80 have been shut down and reopened throughout the day. The Nebraska State Patrol reports numerous stalled and abandoned vehicles along the interstate.
U.S. Highway 275 near Norfolk has been closed since 10 a.m. after two semi trucks jackknifed. The jackknifed trucks blocked traffic and stranded as many as 18 drivers, but Stanton County’s emergency management is reportedly putting together a convoy of vehicles to rescue stranded drivers.

Many stuck vehicles won’t be removed until tomorrow when weather conditions improve, according to transportation officials.
Winter weather is expected to continue to make travel tough in parts of Nebraska through Monday night.
