The cause of Ring’s death remains under investigation.

The last time that Ring spoke to family members was on October 31. On November 1, Ring’s company was unable to reach him, so they tracked his truck to the northbound I-85 rest area in Dolphin. Authorities say that Ring’s truck was found locked and abandoned with some of his belongings still inside.

Since then, members of the trucking community shared posts about Ring’s disappearance thousands of times in hopes of bringing him home to his family alive.

Ring was a 25 year veteran truck driver who leaves behind two daughters and five grandchildren.

If you have information that could help in the investigation into the cause of Ring’s death, you are asked to call Hammonton Police Department at (609) 567-4300 EXT 237.
