Police say that multiple people were hurt when a box truck crashed into a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Pinellas Park, Florida, today.
The crash happened around 1:15 this afternoon at the KFC located at 66th St. N. near Park St. N.
The box truck reportedly struck another vehicle head on before it swerved off of the roadway and crashed into the KFC, according to Fox 13. The box truck crashed through the walls of the restaurant and came to a stop with the cab partially inside the building.
Four people were hurt during the crash. Two KFC diners were taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle that was hit head on by the box truck reportedly suffered serious injuries. The box truck driver also suffered minor injuries.
Authorities say that the box truck was leaking fuel and that they are working to contain the leak.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
