A bridge beam almost fell off a tractor trailer in Greensboro, North Carolina Friday as the rig was making a turn through an intersection.

Authorities shut down Battleground Avenue at New Garden Road Friday afternoon after the bridge beam shifted during a turn and nearly fell from the trailer.
As of 4:00 p.m., both north and south bound traffic was being diverted onto New Garden Road after the 1:30 accident blocked the entire intersection.
The city advises drivers to avoid the area until further notice.
