A delivery truck driver who was paying a lot of attention to his GPS device — but not as much attention to the large body of water in front of him — would up driving off of the roadway into Lake Huron this morning.
According to a report in CTV News, the incident happened in Goderich, Ontario ,earlier today.
The delivery truck driver reportedly made a wrong turn, followed his GPS device’s directions, and wound up driving his truck straight into Lake Huron at the Maitland Marina.
Luckily, the delivery truck driver was able to escape from the partially submerged truck and wasn’t seriously hurt.
The truck was winched out of the water.
