Illinois State Police are asking drivers to seek alternate routes after a dump truck wound up stuck under an overpass on I-64.
The dump truck got stuck this morning in the westbound lanes of I-64 at mile marker 103 in Wayne County, Illinois.
From the Illinois State Police: “Illinois State Police and Wayne County Sheriff’s Department are on scene of a crash on I64 westbound, near Mile Post 103. A dump truck is currently wedged under the overpass at that location. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes.”
Troopers are on the scene of the crash.
The cause of the dump truck crash remains under investigation.
