Green Bay trucking company donates to local fire and police departments

A trucking company giving back to local heroes.

A Green Bay trucking company donated close to $5000 to the local police and fire departments in a Wednesday morning ceremony.

Contract Transport Services donated over $1900 to the Police department and over $3000 to the fire department.

The donations were presented via giant checks to Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith and Green Bay Fire Chief David Litton.  The fire department will use their money for paramedic training, while the police are using their donation for community policing programs.

CTS Trucking has 9 wrapped trucks, including one for police, one for fire, and one for EMS. Starting in 2017, they have donated $.02 for every loaded mile for these wrapped trucks.
