An Indiana trooper shared stunning footage from a two truck crash that happened on I-65 yesterday as a reminder to drivers to move over for disabled vehicles.
The crash happened on Thursday, June 14, at about 12:20 p.m. on northbound I-65 about 10 miles from Seymour, Indiana.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles writes:
“One tractor trailer slammed into the back of a second tractor trailer that had broken down and was parked on the shoulder of I-65 Northbound at 39.5 mm. The force ripped the trailer completely off the chassis. If this was a passenger car on the shoulder, the result would probably have been deadly.
Good example of why you should always move over for vehicles on the shoulder of the interstate.”
Luckily, no serious injuries were reported.
