Indiana State Police (ISP) say that they pulled over a dump truck yesterday after noticing that it was spilling an unknown substance on the highway — only to learn that unknown substance was human poop.
According to a Tweet from rising social media star ISP Sgt. Stephen Wheeles:
“Today, troopers responded to US 50 near Brownstown after a dump truck with an unsecured gate dumped processed human waste on a 3/4 mile stretch of the roadway. Traffic was slowed briefly and the company cleaned up the lost load. The product was deemed environmentally safe.”
The internet, naturally, had things to say about the incident.

A tweet from Trooper Wheeles about pulling over a left lane lingerer went viral earlier this week.
I stopped this vehicle today for a left lane violation on I-65. The driver had approximately 20 cars slowed behind her because she would not move back to the right lane.
Again…if there are vehicles behind you, you must move to the right lane to allow them to pass. pic.twitter.com/tePjJ1Xigy
