A Love’s truck stop location in Ohio is making headlines today for raising what is believed to be one of the largest flags in the state for interstate travelers to enjoy.
More than 100 people attended the flag raising ceremony at the Love’s location off I-71 in Bellville.
The flag, which is 30 feet by 60 feet, was raised atop a 120 foot flag pole by members of the American Legion Post 535 Legionnaires. According to a news release on the event, the flag is believed to be the largest flying between Columbus and Cleveland.
The total cost of the flag plus the flag pole is estimated at over $26,000.
