Alabama police are conducting a homicide investigation after a man was found dead inside of a semi truck at a gas station in Birmingham late last night.
Just before midnight yesterday, officers from the Birmingham Police Department’s West Precinct received word about an unresponsive person in a semi truck parked at the Citgo gas station located on Bankhead Highway, according to AL.com.

When officers arrived, they found a black male inside the truck. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death has not been released, but the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office announced earlier today that the man’s death was homicide.
The identity of the truck driver has not been released.
No arrests have been made.
