Ohio troopers investigate after truck driver found dead in cab at rest stop

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a truck driver found at a rest stop off I-75 earlier today.

The body of an unidentified truck driver was found inside the cab of his truck at the northern end of the rest stop off of I-75 north in Butler County, Ohio, just before 1 p.m. today, according to the Journal-News.

Authorities say that the truck driver may have died a day or two ago.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of death. The doors of the truck were locked when police arrived on scene. Investigators say that they did not find any drugs or evidence of suicide on the truck. There are no signs of foul play at this time.

The Butler County Coroner’s Office will be performing an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
