An historic two story farm house hit a few snags in its journey to a new location in Plano, Texas, yesterday.
The Collinwood House was built around 1861 and needed to be moved by truck from its original location to a farm less than a mile away, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Yesterday morning as the Collinwood House made its journey along Plano city streets to its final destination of Haggard Farm, crews ran into a few snags as the house hit a street light and needed to take a temporary stop in the roadway. However, the driver and crews were able to get the house moving again and successfully completed their journey.
The Collinwood House was moved as a single piece by Texas-based Lemons House Moving.
The house had previously been declared a hazard and was set to be demolished by the city if it could not be relocated.
