Pennsylvania transportation officials have issued a ban for commercial vehicles in preparation for a heavy winter storm.
Beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, all commercial vehicles are banned from Pennsylvania’s I-380 and I-84.
Additionally, starting at midnight on Tuesday, the following vehicles will be banned on certain Pennsylvania roadways:

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has issued a ban for the types of vehicles listed above on the northeastern extension between the Lehigh Tunnel and Clarks Summit.
The travel bans will remain in place as long as is necessary for the weather conditions. More vehicle bans and speed restrictions could be put into place as the winter storm develops tomorrow.
