Chicago police are searching for a suspect who opened fire on a semi truck driver during an early morning road rage incident.

The road rage incident was reported on the Dan Ryan Expressway around 2 a.m. on Christmas Day, according to CBS Chicago.

Police say that the incident began when a light blue Chevy SUV attempted to merge onto the northbound Dan Ryan Expressway from 95th Street.

The truck driver says that the SUV driver opened fire on his truck. One of the bullets went through the truck’s windshield and lodged in the sun visor.

No one was hurt.

The incident remains under investigation. Police don’t have a description of the shooter at this time.

Chicago police say that this brings the total number of shootings on the Dan Ryan Expressway to 11 so far this year.

The Dan Ryan Expressway has been the scene of several truck driver shootings in recent years. Notably, in May of 2016, a 68 year old semi truck driver was shot in the face while traveling on the Dan Ryan, leaving him in critical condition.
