Tricked out Mercedes Benz semi is made to work, says company

The creators of the Mercedes-Benz Actros 2663 “Lowrider” say that their truck isn’t just for show — they say that it’s a work horse.

Kuljetus Auvinen, a Helsinki-based hauling company customized the twenty-tire beast.

According to Automobile, the purple power pusher is equipped with two matching silo trailers and a 15.6-liter inline six-cylinder engine that delivers 625 horsepower. It’s mated to a 12-speed automatic transmission.

While the exterior screams epic-gaudiness through the stare of Danny Trejo and other impossible-to-miss features, the interior is adorned with purple velvet, gold trim, and smooth diamond stitched white leather.

Managing director Miks Auvinen and his professional driver Arto Simola poured their heart and soul into this project.

“It took us over 6000 hours of work to convert an Actros 2663 tractor/semitrailer combination with two silo trailers into a real ‘lowrider’,” Arto said. “And the best part: We don’t just drive this gem of a vehicle from show to show – we actually use it to earn our daily bread.”
