An 18-wheeler overturned after a motorist ran a red light, forcing the truck driver to swerve and spill his 45,000 pound load of steel coil.

The accident occurred on May 8, 2018 around 9:00 a.m. in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

According to News Channel 9, the tractor trailer was making a left turn on the 700 block of Terminal Road near JIT Steel Service when a motorist ran a red light. After the trucker swerved to avoid a collision, the semi overturned, sending the steel coil into a grassy median.
