Traffic delays have been reported after a truck collided with an overpass early this morning, leaving a shipping container blocking the roadway.

The incident was reported around 5:30 a.m. on Highway 1 in Langley, British Columbia, according to the Abbotsford News.

According to reports, a truck traveling on Highway 1 collided with the Glover Road overpass, causing the container to separate from the truck. After the crash, the container remained blocking a lane of traffic and causing traffic backups until around 8:30 a.m. when the container was cleared.
No injuries were reported.
The overpass was hit just 14 hours before the container truck crash when a truck with a raised boom collided with it.

Transportation officials say that the overpass will require minor repairs.
The incident remains under investigation.
