A trucker recorded his encounter with a prickly Iowa DOT officer at a scale house as he was cited for being over gross weight because of snow and ice that had built up on his truck.
The video was posted to Facebook by Rizo Christopher on April 7. Since then, it has been viewed nearly 300,000 times.
In his post, Christopher wrote “…that’s my scale ticket from 1,000 miles before this scale house. (Included for you dummies that like to assume I wasn’t legal or didn’t have a CAT scale ticket).”
Christopher also added, “edit to you all actual super truckers. There’s nothing else to this video it started like this and ended like this and that’s it. If you feel that I should’ve been nicer or think something attitude was given before the recording … you’re wrong. This video is up and made public because I made it that way so thanks for the suggestions, tips and hate.“
