The incident happened this morning just after 9 a.m. in Columbus, Ohio, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Police say that the truck driver was northbound on Route 315 when he accidentally left the highway and turned onto Spring Street. As he attempted to get back onto northbound Route 315, he reportedly mistook the Olentangy Trail (meant for bicycles) and travelled north down the trail until his truck eventually became wedged under an I-670 overpass.

The Ohio Department of Transportation sent out crews to inspect the bridge for structural damage.

Columbus Police are warning bike users that the path will remain closed for awhile.

It isn’t clear whether the truck driver will be cited.
