A semi truck driver found himself in a tough spot early this morning when he swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, on McDonnell Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri, according to Fox 2 Now.

Authorities say that a semi truck driver who was trying to avoid a deer in the roadway crashed into a curb.

The crash damaged the semi truck’s fuel tank, causing it to leak fuel into a nearby ditch.

No injuries were reported.
