After a truck-loving five year old lost his life to a house fire in Kentucky early last week, truckers around the nation have been coming together to show support for the boy and his family with the #lightupforlevicase campaign.

Trucking Community Shows Support For Trucker’s Son Lost In Fire

Levi Case and his 89 year old uncle Mitchell Kyle both succumbed to injuries from a house fire in Bremen, Kentucky, on February 4.

Case loved trucks and wanted to be a truck driver like his dad when he grew up, so supporters started the #lightupforlevicase campaign to honor Levi’s memory and give comfort to his devastated family.

Truckers from across the U.S. and even as far away from Australia have heard about Levi and have been sharing photos of their trucks lit up with the hashtag #lightupforlevicase.

In addition to being honored on social media, the Bremen community has organized a convoy of about 30 trucks that will parade past Levi’s home on Saturday.

The video below was made in honor of #lightupforlevicase.
